The 1987 catalogue for the sale of the very well known collection of the 1950’s 60’s and 70’s Colonel C.M.Dodkins. One catalogue which comprises part 1 and part 2 together 27th April 1987 and 9th June 1987. 696 items of Imperial German and Third Reich accoutrements, medals, badges, insignia from the Imperial Germany Weimar Republic and Third Reich. Many Biro annotations through the catalogue on prices. A fantastic record of a notable collection, all pictures in black and white with central colour section. Many but not all of the prices realised have been annotated next to the items with other comments. Lot 200 an extremely rare Auxiliary Cruiser War Badge with Diamonds sold for £4,300 A Knights Cross to the Iron Cross with oak leaves sold for £1,700. We attended this sale ourselves.
