GERMAN WWII WAFFEN SS GREY WINTER PARKA.

A generally good condition example of the rare first pattern pullover head fur lined winter anorak known as the Kharkov Parka. Excellent photograph of the garment being worn shown on page 69 of the excellent work from 1972 Waffen SS Uniforms and Clothing by Mollo volume 6, good colour overall, all of the fur and sheepskin lining intact, with one hole to the lining only to the lower rear, it has its original windproof cuffs, all correct buttons, there are various minor staining and field repairs, the elasticated waistband still effective, there are minor other small nicks and holes but small to the lower sleeves, a rare Waffen SS item of combat clothing introduced to the winter war in Russia.
