A hand forged blade dating to 1864 and signed by maker Inoue Masa Kuni, likely brought home by a Burma Veteran with written, traceable authenticity. The Straight blade is said to signify that the officer was from a noble family, superb condition blade with nice Hamon, beautiful fittings including a stunning Tsuba with fine finish remaining. The original paint to the scabbard has some abrasions to the surface. but no noticeable dents. An original sword knot is also present. This sword comes with a full in-depth write up.
