BRITISH WWII OFFICERS PRISONER OF WAR IDENTIFICATION DOG TAG.

Rectangular zinc stamped ‘OFLAG/VIIIF’ with the number ‘934’ (Prisoner of 934). Located in a former abbey St.Hedwigs at Wahlstatt in Silesia. It was mainly for army prisoners, many of them of senior rank having been captured in North Africa and Greece. Very slight rust pitting and staining otherwise good condition.
