GERMAN WWII VERY LATE WAR LUFTSCHUTZ FIRE POLICE HELMET.

This is the M.35 central bead style helmet retaining virtually all of its Luftschutz blue paint finish with unusually having a police decal to the very front of the helmet. The decal is the later war variety with very thin white line to the edge of the decal, minor chips but all good and clear. The inner lining is of the type normally found in late war gladiator helmets in rough light cream leather with a plastic chinstrap. Unfortunately with this example the plastic chinstrap, which is rivetted to the liner itself has broken away. The liner has all the tongues with its original drawstring and is stamped size ‘57’. The helmet shell itself is stamped ‘NS64’.
