BRITISH BOER WAR IMPERIAL YEOMANRY ENLISTED RANKS PITH HELMET.

A rare survivor of the Boer War, the standard cork and canvas covered issue pith helmet to enlisted ranks, due to the delicacy of the cork helmets very few survive today. 6 stitched panels cover the cork with a pagri wrapped around the helmet. Fitted with its maroon and red Imperial Yeomanry side badge. Some scuffing to the edges of the helmet, with its enlisted ranks leather sweatband and all other internal fittings. The inner skull is lined with silver paper to reduce the amount of heat penetrating the helmet.
