GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE GENERALS VISOR CAP.

A fabulous time warp cap being a large size 58 Luftwaffe generals cap. High staddle shape, standard gold later war Cellion Waffenfabe , Gold wire, eagle cockade and cords. Correct Gold side buttons, no moth damage anywhere on the cap, high quality material with a good soft nap. Standard mohair centre band. This is a late war Erel cap having the late type visor without the double edged trim found on earlier Luftwaffe caps. The interior lining in satin green, one small chip to the edge of the celluloid centre lozenge. The leather sweatband which is Erel marked has suffered lightly from age and is split in two places. The original size 58 size ticket is still in place at the rear of the sweatband, behind the silk tie between the 2 halves of the sweatband.
