A very heavily worn matched pair of Bavarian wartime subdued grey lace intertwined with Bavarian Blue, laid onto a light grey backing material which was the backing colour for the aviation troops. At some stage in their life they were fitted with rank pip for a Oberleutant, stitch marks remain where they have been removed from a tunic.
