Afrikakorps awardee and Knights Cross winner, the formal type, awarded to Oberleutnant Rolf Rocholl Panzer Regiment 5 21st Panzer Division, part of the Afrika Korps. Awarded 25th March 1942, ink signature of Field Marshall Wilhelm Keitel an issue rubber stamp of the Commander of the Army, he was awarded the Knights Cross on the 28th July 1942 in an action close to Tobruk. Excellent condition generally, one fold to the centre and one crease to the upper right hand corner.
