GERMAN WWI M.17 CAMOUFLAGE TRENCH HELMET.

A very good example of a TJ 66 M 17 shell with M 17 steel banded liner, the exterior paint finish in a three colour camouflage of green, ochre and deep maroon bordering on brown, with wide black separation lines, the finish good overall with the majority of the pattern in the slightly darker colours, some losses to the crown area as normally found, the three pad liner system all complete with its inner cushions and original drawstring, the whole of the interior bowl is in its original M 17 apple green finish.
