GERMAN WWII ARMY M.35 SINGLE DECAL COMBAT HELMET, SMALL SIZE.

It is very difficult to get the smallest size available, this example is marked ‘ET60’, originally issued in the early apple green, more than likely as a double decal combat helmet, refurbished at ordnance works and over-painted in a later grey with a replacement decal. The decal is good and clear although there are abrasions, which can be seen in our web images. The decal was originally silver and has toned to a light hue of gold, a good degree of the secondary finish remaining. The paint finish to the liner retaining rivet heads is missing on 50% of each rivet head. The batch number in the rear skirt ‘3466’. The liner is intact in dark colour with its original drawstring. The aluminium liner band is intact with a slightly shortened complete chinstrap, the date and maker section at the point of the chinstrap is missing.
