GERMAN WWII PANZER OFFICERS VISOR CAP.

A size 56 high saddle shaped panzer officers visor cap in the light grey Melton material. Minor moth nips and moth tracking to the crown with some discoloration to the material. Three moth nips on the rear overhang. Standard dark green centre band. Good clear pink waffenfarbe. Matched bullion wire national eagle and cockade. Standard officers cap cords. The interior of the fibre visor showing considerable wear use. The interior sweatband is of the ersatz variety with some minor cracking to the surface material over the canvas. The cap is with its centre celluloid lozenge with one small section 1cm x 1 ½ cm missing. Gold satin lining to the remainder of the interior of the cap.
