BRITISH/GERMAN WWII SOUVENIR GROUPING.

A small grouping of a soldier service paybook to a Sam Trickett, born in 1917, page 4 showing his capabilities of weapon training on rifles and machine guns, his pasted in medal list of the 1935-45 Star, Italy Star, France & Germany Star, Defence Medal, with other related paperwork. A German tropical Obergefreiter rank patch, an Italian Artillery Regiment side cap insignia. Possibly his own Cheshire Regiment cap badge. A shoulder board, slip-on, of the letter ‘Y’ in white on brown backing for the 5th Division and a 5th May 1945 Thanksgiving Service 2nd Army prayer book with all of the coloured flashes of 2nd Army units printed to the front.
