GERMAN WWII SA M33 DAGGER EX ROHM INSCRIPTION.

A very clean SA M.33 blade with the small logo of Heller, only the small logos were used on the Rohm inscribed daggers. Cross grinding can clearly be seen and the grinding wheel has slightly touched the upper edge of the Heller trademark. Generally good grip with some light chipping to the front left hand side and minor indentations but having good deep rich colour. High quality national eagle and undamaged SA inset with the early nickel fittings for both cross guards. Group marked ‘NNH’ to the rear of the lower cross guard. The dagger at some time in its life has lost its original anodised scabbard and has had a later scabbard fitted with upper and lower fittings of the plated variety, also the finish to the scabbard itself is painted with a late pattern nickel plated fitted leather hanging strap.
