GERMAN WWII SA MANS DAGGER.
A superb condition RZM marked blade with all cross grain finish remaining, the only markings being the marks running horizontally along the blade, these come from the internal brass strips that hold the dagger tight within the scabbard. The blade is marked ‘RZM M7/68’ dated ‘1941’. The upper and lower grip mounts in excellent condition, some minor evidence to the lower grip of cleaning. The wood grip is perfect with late construction aluminium national eagle with an undamaged brown enamel and white metal SA inset. Nice quality upper and lower scabbard mounts with only a very minor indentation to the ball on the lower scabbard mount. All the original brown paint finish intact with slight scuffing, beautiful grain within the wood grip. All the four screws that hold the mounts to the scabbard are complete and do not have their heads turned.
