BRITISH VICTORIAN HUSSAR BOOTS.

A fabulous pair of what we believe to be volunteer cavalry boots of the British Victorian period. Silver lace and rosette to the upper part of the boots. The manner in which the design has been created is incredible. Maker ink stamped ‘Peal & Co, 48 Oxford Street, London W’ with number ‘883874’. Fitted into their original japanned delivery case that locks, unfortunately the key is missing, plus a ‘Peal & Company Military Bootmaker, 187 Oxford Street’ label, surmounted by the Royal Coat of Arms to the exterior of the lid.
