GERMAN WWI M16 CAMOUFLAGE TRENCH HELMET.

A super example all complete with liner and chinstrap of a Q 66 shell, the exterior retaining 95% of its three-colour camouflage pattern, a slightly darker shade of forest green, ochre and light tan, with wide black separation lines in an unusual finish that comes down from the centre the crown in a V pattern. Liner is the standard M-16 with leather liner band, all the three leather pads present with their interior cushions, one of the leather pads delicately attached to the leather liner band, with its original leather chinstrap which is frail in places. Accompanying this helmet is a nicely typed fully descriptive label completed by the helmet previous owner.
