GERMAN WWII SS MODEL 1936 CHAINED OFFICERS DAGGER.

A magnificent blade with all cross grain finish remaining. Good deep etching to the SS motto. No maker, as is standard for SS officers daggers. High quality fittings to the upper and lower cross guards. Undamaged ebony wood grip with high quality national eagle and undamaged enamel to the SS inset. All fitted into its anodised scabbard, which has virtually all of the anodising remaining. The full compliment of chains present. SS marked within an octangle to the centre chain. All screws holding the three sets of fittings to the scabbard present. A very good and clean example of this highly desirable dagger.
