GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE M35 EARLY EAGLE COMBAT HELMET.

A early M35 double decal combat helmet, shell is stamped E.T. 6 with the second digit not being visible, but is possibly 60 or 62. The exterior skull has at least 50% of its original early light blue finish remaining, the short winged Luftwaffe Eagle has various scratches and abrasions, as does the national tricolour, it would appear that some stage in its life this helmet had a camouflage finish, faint traces remain, an original owners name hand painted in white to the upper inner crown, the M35 liner in excellent service worn condition, with its original drawstring present, an unusual form of double thickness chinstrap which we firmly believe to be original to the helmet. A nice and interesting example of the early M35 double decal combat helmet.
