US WWII CHAPLAIN OFFICERS VISOR CAP.

A very nice condition US Army Air Force officers visor cap constructed in the soft Melton material. Large size, possibly 58, with its American eagle highly gilded badge, woven centre band, American eagle side buttons, soft brown leather peak. Waterproof inner crown lining with a loose label, which reads ‘CHAPLAIN (CAPTAIN V.J.MILOT 142ND GENERAL HOSPITAL, CALCUTTA INDIA’, followed by another label ‘REGULATION ARMY OFFICERS SERVICE CAP’. Original paper size tag ‘7 3/8ths’.
