GERMAN WWII 1974 COUNT KLENAU AUCTION CATALOGUE.

The large and important auction house of Hermann Historica of Munich was first started by Graf Count Kleanu, and one of his first auctions was in London in 1974 (which we attended and purchased the Infantry Standard). This interesting auction catalogue comprising of 238 items exemplifies the huge growth of interest and subsequent prices of items of the Third Reich. For instance, a Luftwaffe goblet of honour reserve price £250, a Infantry standard with the reserve price of £1350 the German cross in gold with some enamel damage in its original case, £100. This is a fascinating view into the world of collecting Third Reich items in 1974 many of the items are photographed in this 10 page catalogue.
