Fitted with its gilded Kriegsmarine eagle, gold bullion-wire national cockade, with its removable centre band, standard Naval strap, with twin gilded anchor side buttons. The bullion wire trim to the front of the peak has toned to a silver-grey colour. To the interior, the mid-tan leather sweatband all intact with its still attached price tag, the lettering to the price and or size tag is faded, but on test this Is probably 57 or 58, light cream rayon lining, with the totally undamaged centre celluloid lozenge, a magnificent item.
