GERMAN WWII EARLY THIRD REICH/REICHWEHR PERIOD OFFICERS VISOR CAP.

A magnificent condition large size, possibly 59 or 60 infantry officers visor cap, manufactured in the later Third Reich style but in the colours of more to the Reichwehr period, slighter shade of field grey green to the main body, a lighter shade of dark green for the centre band. Reichwehr size eagle and cockade. Standard silver officers cap cords but interestingly with black side buttons. No moth damage anywhere on the cap, good bright colours. To the interior the mid tan sweatband showing wear use with the orange cushion inside, which has solidified. The remaining sweatband in very nice condition with the undamaged centre celluloid lozenge with the name of either a manufacturer or a retailer ‘Rekord’ in gilt underneath the celluloid lozenge.
