A good service worn deck cap, approximately size 55. Good blue wool top with three minor moth nips, the main lower body is good with one further moth nip with its double combined section of eagle, swastika and national cockade, with its Kriegsmarine cap tally. To the interior the cap shows evidence of heavy wear use. The mid tan leather sweatband is in place with the sailor’s initials of ‘LK’ applied. To the centre of the blue lining the remains of a naval retailer. A good example of a well worn Kriegsmarine ratings cap.
