GERMAN WWII HANHART AVIATORS WATCH 1998 REPLIKA.

The well known German watchmakers Hanhart were one of the only two companies in WWII to produce the Chronograph watches for the Luftwaffe pilots and other aviators. In 1998 the Company decided to reproduce 2,500 examples only of this world famous watch. Regimentals over the years have collected these watches and are now gradually disposing of them. We have had number ranges close to the 2,500 and also close to number 1. This example is number 175, it is in superb condition, fully operational and fitted with an original Hanhart supplied military style strap arrangement with the closure buckle also marked with the Hanhart ‘H’. It is complete with its original leather pouch, its interior cushion, its guarantee matched numbered ‘175 28th September 1998’ the first year of production and supplied by a jeweller’s shop in Freiburg Germany. The guarantee firmly states ‘HANHART FLIEGER CHONOGRAPH (REPLIKA) MODEL 700FF LIMITED EDITION 2,500 PIECES’. A fine addition to any Luftwaffe or watch collectors collection.
