RUSSIAN WWII M40 COMBAT HELMET.

A recently discovered stash of helmets found in the Ukraine, this model 40 helmet retaining at least 60% of its original Russian light green paint finish with the remains of the red stencilled star with hammer and sickle to the centre. Some area of rust patches, which can be seen in our web images. To the rear of the inner shell are various markings and the partly complete date of ‘1942’ with various other numbers. The web chinstrap is complete. All three green Rexine liner pads also complete with original drawstring.
