GERMAN WWII JUNCKER AIRCRAFT COMPANY PRESENTATION TABLE.

A magnificent piece for the dedicated aviation collector or the collector of Third Reich porcelain being this 78cm square Meissen tiled top table. The table base is constructed in stylised wood with a lower under panel. The central section of the table being a design of 43 outer tiles, half of them having aviation scenes with a large central sunburst tile, which measures 30cm square. The four corner tiles all have the logo of the Juncker Aviation Company with the marking of the famous porcelain manufacturer ‘Meissen’ below the logo trademark, half of the other tiles within the table are all of aviation scenes showing JU52 aircraft, seaplanes, other forms of passenger aircraft all showing the Iron Cross to the wings and the swastika to the table. We can only theorise as to the purpose of this table, it may have been a presentation piece from the Juncker Company to a retired employee, it could be a presentation piece to a customer of the Juncker Aviation Company or it could even be a table, part of a set that may have been in the entrance reception of the Juncker Aviation Company. The large square has one chip to the corner, one other smaller tile is cracked but overall the condition of the porcelain is magnificent as is the wood table.
