One securing dome to the spike cross base missing, one of the side caps For the chin scale has been replaced, the helmet has its correct domed chin scales for mounted troops, its rare and correct Hessian fluted spike, the helmet is fitted with the much earlier pattern very large size Hessian painted state cockade, and a later Prussian officers cockade. the helmet is complete with his 18 tongued NCO style liner.
