GERMAN WWII NUREMBERG EAGLE.
A highly impressive Nuremberg style eagle mounted on its marble base, then further mounted on three rectangular ribbed columns which are semi replicating the columns of the Nuremberg rally field, the columns themselves then sit on a further base of marble, upon which there is a presentation brass plaque, which loosely translates “15 year jubilee for an organisation in Vienna dated first of April 1940 “. From the base to the head of the eagle measures 35 cm, with a base width of 16 cm, the Nuremberg eagle wings has a width of 15 cm. The wings of the eagle and the head and chest has very fine definition and has been extremely well constructed, beneath the eagles claws to the centre of the wreath is a black white and red NSDAP party badge, to the rear of the eagle below the wreath in raised relief is the RZM number M2/100, there is no damage or repairs on any part of the presentation piece, and is highly impressive.
