GERMAN WWII TENO MAN’S HEWER.
Excellent blade with good and clear Eickhorn trademark, accompanying the Third Reich eagle and swastika trademark of the Teno, all Teno man’s and officers’ blades are number matched, the blades are lightly etched and the scabbards are heavily stamped, the number edging on this blade is faint but is still readable at 5584, which matches the stamped numbers on the upper scabbard throat. a good tight fit into the scabbard, the upper hilt having some slight bubbling of plating but no severe losses, undamaged celluloid white grips, much of the Black patination still visible in the lower field of the cross guard eagle, all fitted into its black painted scabbard that has age lines showing through the paint, all original screws intact without the heads being turned, the plating to the scabbard mount matching the hilt exactly in colour, the dagger is fitted with its original brown leather and metallic clip, the clip fully functioning and being Assman marked, the hilt securing strap for the hanger is undamaged, we mention this as this is quite a common problem with the hangers for the Teno man’s dagger.
