BRITISH WWII FAIRBAIRN SYKES 1ST PATTERN FIGHTING KNIFE.

A nice clean example of the rare 1st pattern fighting knife with the all nickel S shaped cross guard. The blade is clearly marked ‘Wilkinson Sword’ to one side, the ‘F & S knife’ to the opposite side, slightly fainter. Some slight lifting of plating to the cross guard. Fitted into its correct leather scabbard with nickel plated bottom chape. Both leg tabs are complete however the belt loop section is missing.
