GERMAN WWII ARMY PIONEER NCO WHITE/CREAM SERVICE TUNIC.

A nice heavy duty white canvas summer tunic, worn by an NCO in a Pioneer Unit. Slip-on M.36 shoulder boards with NCO rank, black piped, silver lace to the shoulder boards. To the collar a row of subdued NCO lace with black centred Bevo woven collar patches. Army enlisted ranks Bevo woven breast eagle, machine stitched. To the interior extra interior padded shoulders have been added by possibly a company tailor. The tunic is of 5 button configuration, with the upper collar ironed back to wear as an open collar style tunic. Good large size. A heavy substantial tunic.
