GERMAN WWII RAD MANS HEWER.
A very fine example of the RAD mans hewer. It is always difficult to find a clean example of this dagger as many have been abused. The blade is excellent with a deep Arbeit Adelt etched inscription, no abusing to the blade. Comple with its triple marking of its RAD acceptance stamp within a lozenge, the lettering ‘Ges Gesch’ followed by the ‘Carl Julius Krebs Solingen’ logo. The solid nickel hilt in very good condition, stag grips undamaged, unusually unit marked ‘FU356’ top the hilt and matching stamping to the throat of the scabbard, the scabbard paint all intact with a few minor scratches and three very light indentations to the scabbard itself. Plating complete to all the scabbard fittings.
