GERMAN WWII AFRIKA KORPS SONDERVERBAND 288 TRADITION BADGE.

A very rare badge produced in the local area of North Africa, for the members of the Special Unit Sonderverband 288. Cast construction in brass with its German tinny type fixing on the back, which is rusty. Stamped into the back the lettering ‘SONDERVERBAND 288 DAK 1941’ plus what appears to be a unit designation that is difficult to read.
