US WWII M.42 PARATROOPER JACKET.

A good upper medium size M.42 jump jacket, part of the jacket and trouser jump suit, its belt is still with the jacket, the belts can easily disappear. Nice good original colour, some loss of finish to the domes of the press studs, especially on the pocket studs. Complete with its main zip, of which the puller named ‘Crown’. The knife pocket, again complete with its zip, which has an indistinct maker’s stamp, that is definitely original to the jacket. To the lower left hand front pocket interior there is the canvas label, which reads ‘Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot. Inspected by’ with no inspector’s name. Two minor rust stains to the upper right hand pocket, otherwise the jacket is unblemished.
