GERMAN WWII ARMY M.40 CAMOUFLAGE COMBAT HELMET.

NS64 shell, interesting camouflage of a slightly brighter green than normally encountered on Normandy pattern helmets, small spots of pink with a toned maroon. Abrasions in places but generally most of the camouflage finish remaining. No evidence of any decal ever being fitted. On inverting the helmet it is immediately apparent that this is a barn stored helmet. The liner is all intact, complete with its original drawstring, dark storage staining and original wear usage marks, complete with its zinc liner band and its original very thin and heavily worn chinstrap.
