GERMAN WWII ARMY ASSAULT GUNNERS TUNIC.

A very nice condition field grey green wrap over assault gunners tunic. Standard grey green cloth material, fitted with slip-on mid war red artillery silk piped shoulder boards with the rank of Oberfeldwebel with two pips to each shoulder board, subdued grey nco lace with the regimental numbers ‘905’ to the centre of each board in grey. Bevo woven universal collar patches mounted on field grey backing with red artillery silk piping. The standard mid war period Bevo woven grey on green machine stitched breast eagle. One rust stain to the material just underneath the left hand collar as the tunic is worn. Some areas of moth tracking to the nap of the cloth but no actual moth holes. Iron Cross ribbon to the upper buttonhole, another rust stain on the very fold of the left hand collar. To the interior grey rayon lining, RB numbered, full size stamping compliment, the lining is in excellent condition with some minor storage staining. Canvas loops for the belt support hooks. All original buttons fitted.
