GERMAN WWII MG34/42 MACHINE GUN SIGHT CARRYING BOX.

The rare box in the ordnance tan colour for carrying the MG34/42 ZF sight. The inside separation panels are missing however complete with its sprung loaded web tab to the closure catch, which is maker coded and dated ‘42’. The webbing tab still in place. It is complete with a webbing shoulder strap, one of the cast attachement clips has broken and is only held to the can with twisted wire. This very example is the one shown in the excellent work by Military Mode Publishing written by Roly Pickering Austrustung Volume 2.
