Nice clothing bag, all constructed with webbing strapping, olive drab canvas, these were for carrying officers essentials and could be hung by a reinforced upper mantel to areas of a tent. There are various interior pockets with large Prym press studs to hold toiletries and other uniform items as well as larger interior base pockets with typical tabs marked ‘LUX’. To the front is a rope type closure that would have had string or rope through the alloy eyelets to lace it shut. Overall slight staining, written to the handle is the original officer's details ‘Oberstleutnant Neimann’. Small rodent gnaw to the front flap.
