GERMAN WWI WURTEMBERG REGIMENT 122 FELDMUTZE, MINT UNISSUED.

Part of a small quantity we obtained some years ago, which was a mixture of Wurtemberg and Prussian feldmutzes. This is one of the untouched Wurttemberg examples. Standard field grey, no moth damage to the hat, a slight bit of moth tracking on the crown in one place only. Standard red centre band, red piped to the crown with both the national and Wurttemberg State cockades. To the interior it is profusely stamped with the Esslingen maker, stamped size ‘54’, further stamp ‘B.A.X111’ (Army Corps 18) with the date ‘1916’ and lastly regimentally stamped ‘F.R.122’.
