A large size marked G 58 inside the removable cover , also with a name tag ( Treffer ) in the Naval form of red embroidered letters on a white base , classic navy floppy shape, additionally marked 58 ink blue ink to the cap front strengthener that holds the form of the cap upright in the front, very high quality Melton material construction, a matching set of officer quality bullion wire gold eagle and cockade, standard Naval style strap, twin anchor side buttons, NCO type double thickness edge to front visor, removable mohair centre band, the blue top to the cap is removable. To the interior the mid tan leather sweatband all complete, with maker or retailers name of Karl Weffels of Wilhelmshaven ink stamped to the interior of the sweatband, the remainder of the interior in blue rayon or silk, centre celluloid lozenge never fitted.
