A very large size junior officers visor cap in the classic Navy floppy shape, huge size possibly size 60, no moth damage to any part of the upper body, soft Melton Navy blue Cloth used in the construction. Fitted with a matching set of toned wire woven eagle and cockade, standard Naval style strap, twin anchor side buttons, with rank braid to the edge of the leather bound peak. To the interior the mid tan sweatband retaining good colour with evidence of wear use in the forehead area, a Kiel maker’s name gold blocked into the leather sweatband, the interior Navy blue lining in a silk like rayon, which has faded in the crown area, the centre celluloid lozenge is missing but still retains the matching maker or retailer’s name in gilt but very faded.
