GERMAN WWII 20 LITRE JERRY CAN IN DUNKELGELB.

German military items came from the factories in three colours, dunkelgelb and dunkelgrau (dark grey), also a further colour of dunkelbraun, the dunkelgelb items are often misdescribed by people as tropical, this is not correct. We have an excellent example of a dunkelgelb 20 litre petrol can dated ‘1944’, full lettering impressed into the can. Approximately 50% of the original dunkelgelb remaining with a fully operational filler cap.
