Shell size ET66. The exterior of the shell retains much original apple green finish, four indentations, probably from shrapnel to the crown area. To the interior the standard leather M.16 liner band. All of the three leather liner pads are fitted to the helmet, one hanging on by a small section of leather, which has its original inner cushion present, the second pad half broken away from the liner band, also has its inner cushion, the third without its leather cushion and missing the two liner tongues and again half broken away from the liner band. An original owner’s name hand applied to the inner rear skirt with a considerable amount of trench mud congealed and hard to the inner skirt.
