Q 64 sized shell, the exterior in a green and tan two colour combination, various abrasions and scratches overall, the outline of the Luftwaffe single decal can clearly be seen beneath the paint finish, the liner retaining good colour, with some roughness to the lower edge of the liner band, all tongues intact, with its original drawstring, the helmet is complete with its full length original chinstrap which has the faint remains of the maker and date which is proving near impossible to decipher, the original Luftwaffe blue grey paint can clearly be seen on the inside of the shell, stamped DN 143.
