GERMAN WWII OTTO SKORZENY LETTER.

Historically important letter from Skorzeny to SS Obergruppenfuhrer Ernst Kaltenbrunner thanking him for his assistance in the Skorzeny rescue of Benito Mussolini in 1943. Typed on Skorzeny’s official headed notepaper, addressed from his Command Headquarters in Friedenthal near Berlin where his commando units were trained, to Kaltenbrunner’s address at the Gestapo Headquarters in the Prinz-Albrecht-Str.8 with Skorzeny’s original ink signature. Excellent condition, one fold to the centre, punch holed to filing, slight foxed outer edges.
