A nice condition, approximately size 56 or 57 Army General’s visor cap, constructed in high quality ribbed material. Subdued gold waffenfarbe to the upper and lower sections of the dark green centre band and the upper crown area. Fitted with the pre 1943 all silver Bevo wire officers eagle and cockade. Standard soft crushable peak. The interior is unusual in that the cap is completely lined in black with an Eastern German Zwickau makers label below the centre celluloid lozenge, this identical maker silver blocked to the nice condition light tan sweatband.
