GERMAN WWII DAF RIVER BOAT OFFICIALS VISOR CAP.

A good jaunty shape in the naval style approximately size 58 or 59. Dark blue body with the oval shaped badge similar in size to the DAF badge but with a gold bullion anchor overlaid with a metallic Steam Ship Company flag. The cap tally, which has been placed over the standard DAF style of centre band is for the SS Rheinland with the company flags on either side of the lettering. Complete with officers silver chin cords. To the interior a white tan sweatband with minor wear shows. Blue brushed cotton upper inner lining, again on the naval style with the gold blocked DAF symbol to the centre of the cap with a partially broken celluloid lozenge.
