GERMAN WWII TROPICAL BREAD BAG.

A bread bag, very light in colour, closely similar to the light tan colour of Luftwaffe webbing. It is missing its central upper tab and belt retaining hook. Both loops are present with their zeltbahn buttons and interior buttons are missing, however a rare bread bag. Recently purchased from probably the best combat uniform and equipment collection in the United Kingdom comprising Army tropical, Waffen SS, Luftwaffe paratrooper and many other items of the same genre. The collection was begun by the then 15 year old boy who used to visit our own shop in London in the very early 1980’s and has built this collection up over 40 years culminating in the writing of excellent books on these subjects.
