A small grouping of insignia and one metal artefact from Civil Defence. Shoulder titles Messenger, Rescue, A/Commandant, Detachment Staff, Ambulance, Report & Control, British Immigration, three other sections of British cloth and an interesting piece of metal with accompanying note “Shrapnel picked off the deck of the motor vessel Megara after an air raid in Liverpool during the nights of December 20th and 23rd 1940.”
